Lette’s Chat’s Moving On Up!! Update
It’s been a while since I last blogged and I’ve missed it! I’ve been pretty busy the past few weeks and my writing is something that I never want to rush so I’ve waited for a good time to pull my thoughts together and update you.
I want to thank everyone who participated in the Kick Starter “Lette’s Chat is Moving On Up” campaign. Even though I didn’t reach the financial goal, it was still a wonderful opportunity and I don’t regret a single thing. You were kind, generous and so very encouraging. Support didn’t always come financially. Many of you offered services or products or helped tweet and post to the masses on my behalf. When it was all said and done, I had 31 backers and just short of half the goal.
Rising to your word, half of you who pledged funds responded and actually PAID the funds, via PayPal, bringing my total collection to around $600 which will fund two full months’ “rent” at BLIS.fm – enough to get me started!
Since receiving the funds, I have signed my contract with BLIS.fm, had a photo shoot which will go on their home page as well as mine when the Lette’s Chat BLIS.fm website has finished being built. As soon as the website is complete, I will be trained on the equipment and then the show will begin. To date, it’s looking like Lette’s Chat will air (LIVE) on Thursdays from 5-6 pm/ET But there will plenty of notification before the move. Instead of rescheduling guests who are booked through May on BTR, I will continue till the end of May on Blog Talk Radio broadcasting on Wednesday nights only at 8pm/ET.
A special shout out thanks to a few people in particular who were so crucial in helping me get through the campaign: Joe Wilson, Dan Olivo, Kate Worth, Ayla Page, Karl Jones, Michael Paige, Emilia Tokes, Cheralee McClelland, Meredith Smith, Pam Dumond, Nicole Brooks and Bryden Lloyd. Without your support, products, hard work and/or encouragement (oh yeah, and your money HA!) it might not have been possible.
I am doing what I feel I was called to do. I treat the responsibility of producing radio programs very seriously and with respect and professionalism. Thank you all, if I have missed someone I apologize, for what you have done. That campaign has opened doors for me and introduced me to even more incredible people I look forward to working with. I truly have come full circle.

Lette’s Chat Update!!
Hello all,
Just wanted to reach out and give you an update about Lette’s Chat. I’m close to my Kick Starter goal! So far I’ve raised over $1,100!! Thanks to everyone who has pledged.
Many years ago, my dream was stolen. At the tender, impressionable young age of 19, I was told I’d never make it in the entertainment industry. I believed it and my life took a different path. On May 2nd, 2012 I launched Lette’s Chat, my own radio program. Forty-five wonderful people listened to my show and now, almost a year later, I’ve had over TWENTY-SEVEN THOUSAND hits on my program.
I have interviewed celebrities such as Mykelti “Bubba Gump” Williamson, Mark Gantt (Ocean’s Eleven), Joe Wilson, John Colella, Dan Olivo (also a crooner) and Reamy Hall (Vampire Mob Series), Actress Kimberly Hill, and Richard Lawson. Coming up later this month, in April and May, I will be interviewing actor Paul Alessi, (The Italian Job, The Negotiator), Sila Agavale (Naked Fears) and Sheldon Reynolds, former member of the incomparable musical group, Earth Wind and Fire.
Now’s the time to move to Internet radio and I launched a campaign on KickStarter.com Support has come from everywhere and for that I am eternally grateful. Life is coming full circle
When I was a child, I wanted to work on the radio or in the movies. That desire stayed with me all the way through young adulthood until someone stole my dream. While my mother was my constant supporter, I wasn’t raised with the “you can do anything” or “don’t ever quit” type of resilience. I wouldn’t learn that mentality until much later in life.
Dream stealers. They’re out there lurking.
Don’t believe them, they are liars.
